¡Rose se bautizó!

What a great week!! We had the graduation for our English classes that
we teach in public schools, 

Graduation

on Friday, and on Saturday Rose was
baptized!!! We are so happy for her. Her boyfriend Arturo bought her
that beautiful dress for her baptism. We're so glad we were able to

teach her. She is the sweetest person ever! 

Also, the elders'
investigator Alexis was baptized after learning for 3 years. He is so

cool! It was the best weekend ever! 

I also spoked on Sunday in the

Spanish Ward.... I'll send my talk to those of you who speak the
celestial language.. Hehe or you can ask me for it if you want. I was
also slightly attacked by like 5 dogs this week that tried ripping my
dress off and it now has a huge hole... It wasn't until we stopped and
just said a prayer that the dogs left us alone... So cool! I love this
area so much! I never want to leave! Hope you all have a great week!!

This was the best week ever!! Rose is getting baptized on Saturday.
❤️❤️❤️ We are so proud of her and happy!! I'm blanking on the rest of
the week, but GOOD things are happening in this mission.

Soooooo Friday the 13th messed up a lot... I'm not kidding. Satan is
working hard on our investigators! But nevertheless, it was another
super fun week!!

Some confusion happened.... We told the elders it was my companion's
9-month mark. So we told them that it was her "birthday" in the
mission... But they got really confused and thought it was her real
birthday... Boys will be boys.. And they told our district leader, who
then threw her a HUGE party at district meeting.. A surprise party....
I have never seen so much celebration by accident. We literally had
ice cream and chips and salsa, and there were balloons everywhere and
we sang happy birthday to her. So legit! I am excited for my birthday!
Haha I really hope I stay in this area!

Feliz día de la Madre

Hi friends,

I had another great week, and I got to talk to some of my favorite
people yesterday, so that was the best thing ever. I got to talk to
Kobe/ Hermana Bower all the way in Argentina! It's crazy how the time
just flies.
I miss my mom a lot around this time of the year, because she's been
gone 15 years now, but I can just feel her smiling down on me, so I
feel really blessed.

We had an amazing week of contacting and finding cool people, and
teaching some of our favorites. I went on exchanges with Bear Creek
and it made me realize how much I love my area, even though Bear Creek
is cool too! Houston 10 is just home! There's no place like it.
Anyways, I hope you've all had an amazing week. Don't ever forget how
special you are to me! The picture below is of us and Rose, who's
getting baptized this month!

Soooooo I don't know what to say about this week... But! We have three
new elders in our ward, our investigator Rose accepted a baptismal
date for May, and Victoria and Curtis came to church with their
family!!!! Also, the crazy storms made the power go out and I got
ready in the dark. That's the best way to explain this week.
