Rain, Rain, Go away....

EXCITING stuff is happening here.... We are teaching an awesome family
who now have the baptismal date of June 11!!! Woohoo!! I can't even
begin to tell you how amazing they are.... The mom already wants to go
to the temple, and shared with us that she began to do their family
history work, found information on her dad, and started crying and had
to call her mom about it. It's really amazing. They are already up to
Jacob in the Book of Mormon, and teaching them is so precious. We have
never met such prepared people. While teaching them about the plan of
salvation, Victoria (the mom) asked about the people in spirit prison,
and if she would be allowed to go from paradise to help the people in
prison learn more about Christ too..... Amazing, right? Anyways, we
are super excited for all that they're doing to follow Christ, and we
can see the happiness it's brought them, knowing they can be together
forever as a family.

Also, (as pictured below) the beauty of being a Spanish missionary in
the United States is that you get to experience every Hispanic culture
all at once! I met a brother from Argentina that is really less active
and started to talk to him about how I've eaten a bunch of food from
Argentina because my friends have served missions there and he is now
my friend.. Even though he's like 70.. Hehe and he came to the ward
activity yesterday with all his grandkids.. And guess what? He brought
me empanadas (yes, the kind with the eggs and green olives and
beef)... But they were SO GOOD! Seriously, best food ever.

It's been a week of miracles and I hope you've had one too! Love you always,
Hermana Sheirbon ❤️💦💦💦🏊🏊🏊 (me swimming in the floods here)
